In a cruel world where man values his own kind
A poor dogs suffering we pay little mindIn animal control a dog on death row
We all know that soon he must go
This poor creature has little time
And still we pay him no mind
There fore I pray, Lord, let me save a dog today A cruel sport a dog fights till he's dead
Blood and cuts all over his head
For this a cruel human chooses his kind
And still yet we pay him no mind
Therefore I pray, Lord, let me save a dog today
Ignorance and cruelty plays a big roll
For his kind it takes a great tollWe created this dog because of our need
We kill him now because of his breed
Therefore I pray, Please Lord, let me save a dog today
Ignorance and intolerance dogs killed in masses
Hate full people rejoice when he passesYes it's true that some dogs are bad
To blame a whole breed because of one is so sad
Dogs made mean by humans are cursed
Blaming dogs for humans evil is worse
So therefore I pray, please Lord stop the pain
Let these poor dogs not die in vainPlease O Lord I pray, let me save a dog today
